Childbirth Education Classes

Our childbirth classes are one of the most popular and comprehensive in the Manawatu, and are run by qualified Childbirth Educators, assisted by Parents Centre volunteers. Our classes cover a variety of essential topics focusing on pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.

Baby and You

Focused on early parenthood, The ‘Baby and You’ programme follows on from antenatal classes and offers sound tips and strategies as you begin your remarkable journey. This course is perfect for parents of babies 0-6 weeks and covers a range of discussion topics. Bring your baby along to class.

Palmerston North Parents Centre’s Responsive Parenting Workshops are designed to encourage, support and equip families with positive, ‘responsive’ and non-punitive strategies for the parenting journey. Perfect for the toddler and preschool years, the course provides evidence based research and strategies for building strong, positive relationships with your children.
